Positive: The property is actually a 5th floor apartment, which may be hard to find on arrival. I arranged for the owner to meet me at the airport and there was a 5000 xaf charge for this, which I thought was reasonable. There are a few takeaways nearby and a bakery that sell reasonably priced food. Taxis, which are plentiful, charge 1000xaf into the centre of the city. I found them all without exception very honest. Don't expect too much from the apartment, and you won't be disappointed.

Negative: The bedroom was very warm even with the fan.
